Girls just want to have fun.........

I hope everyone is lucky enough to have a friend who makes them laugh so hard it hurts!

Alice and Darrell.........

Our dear friends Alice and Darrell. Their visit was so much fun!!! For those of you who don't know, Alice went to high school with Stacey and I. She met, and married, the love of her life at ORU, where they both attended college. We met Darrell shortly after we were married. We became very close friends when all four of us ended up in Vail, Colorado. Stacey and I only spent the winter there. But, Darrell and Alice stayed and started a cable company, sold it eight years later, and Darrell brought Alice home to Owasso. Our friendship has span almost 30 years. During the "active" child raising years we didn't see as much of each other as we wanted, but now that our kids are older, we have found it easier to spend time together. One of our favorite things to do is cook for each other. We love making long evenings out of our dinners. Sometimes out on the water, sometimes on their patio around the firepit. So, what better idea could we have then to meet in Italy and EAT!! I have divided the pictures into the places we went. As I was going through the pictures I noticed how much they looked like they were honeymooners!! However the first small group of pictures is just for fun..................the rest of the pictures I grouped into mostly couple shots. I didn't put any of the ones of Stacey and I with Alice and Darrell. I wanted this to be a section all for them.

This first picture is just one I turned to black and white because I was looking into the sun and it just worked better as a black and white. It is such a great shot of Darrell holding Alice I just couldn't delete it. So, I will use it to start this very short file............just for fun file.........of some many crazy shots of Alice and Darrell. Of course, if anyone knows this couple they know that most of the antics always come from Alice. Darrell is just a sweet, quiet guy, who fell in love with this crazy girl. Alice is the life of ANY party and it was one big laugh the whole time they were here. These are just a few of what I would call.....my out-take shots..........if I put all of them on here they would KILL me!!! They are such good friends I know these few will trigger the same smile they do with me every time I see them and remember, the whats, the where's, and the whys..........
