Sorrento!!
Sorrento is the gateway to the Amalfi Coatline. The next two towns are Positano and Amalfi. The road from Sorrento to Amalfi is said to be the world's greatest ride! It will leave you with your mouth open from the view, and frustrated with to little film in your camera. It has hotels and villas clinging to the vertical terrain. It has beautiful sandy coves teasing you from far below and out of reach. You will hyperventilate, noticing how the Mediterranean, a sheer 500-foot drop below, really twinkles in the sunlight and moonlight. And if you know where to look you will see the villas of movie stars like Sophia Loren!
Our hotel sat on the famous road and the views were breathtaking to say the least. The next picture is from the hotel's resturant terrace. You could eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and never get tired of the view. We voted it our fovorite breakfast, not necessarily because of the food, but because of the view!
I also wanted to post these two pictures of Stacey. I didn't want them to get lost in the shuffle of all the other pictures. For the past two months Stacey has been working 10 to 15 hour days, 5 and sometimes 6 days a week. I am not making up those hours. He is working his tail off here in Italy while the rest of us have played non-stop tourist!! The first afternoon we got here he found this lounge chair on our balcony. He read for a few minutes and then fell asleep. He slept the afternoon away, and woke up feeling like a new person. He was able to relax with the sound of the waves of the Mediterranean in the background, and the sweet frangrance of the lemon trees all around him. HE was my favorite view the whole afternoon. Seeing him on a rare day, relax like a tourist!

We loved the balcony off our hotel rooms. We spent alot of time hanging out here and ended taking alot of pictures. The background was beautiful!
