There is a hallway with nothing but huge tapestries. Most of them were two stories tall, and twice as wide! Again, we struggled with "shutter shake" and could not get really clear shots. We will be back to do it again with our tripod! BUT, I wanted to show you something from this hallway. The first couple of tapestries had "silver" thread spun into them. Silver tarnishes after some time and nobody wanted to "polish" the rugs......so the silver looked like yellowish or a dull gold color. They decided to go with "gold" thread from there on out...and that worked much better. So, not only do the walls and ceilings in this place have gold, so do the tapestries...(the rugs!)
